Our commitment to sustainability
Respect for the environment and personal health are at the heart of Kroll’s philosophy. We have been innovating for over 45 years, investing resources in the development of eco-friendly formulations.
In 1986, when “natural” was still a little-explored and little-understood concept in Italy, we already felt the need to change our production approach, favoring natural plant-based raw materials from renewable sources.
This commitment continues to guide us today toward a more conscious, sustainable future focused on everyone’s well-being.

Kroll has always promoted sustainable development through the creation of formulations that respect the environment and human health. Our hand, body and hair cleansers and creams are certified, formulated with cosmetic-grade raw materials, and packaged with reduced environmental impact.
We are guided by a clear vision: continuous growth, constant improvement of our formulations and total transparency to every customer.
Active ingredients in the Kroll line
ALOE VERA
(Aloe Barbadensis – Aloe leaf juice)
With its highly beneficial properties, it ensures balanced moisturizing and well-being for all skin types.
CHAMOMILE
(Matricaria Recutita – Extract of chamomile flower heads)
It has excellent soothing and calming properties that make it suitable for delicate and sensitive skin.
GLYCERIN
(Organic – extracted from coconut oil)
It has excellent moisturizing properties for the skin, ensuring softness and elasticity.
MALLOW
(Malva Sylvestris – Mallow leaf extract)
Its emollient and moisturizing action makes it particularly suitable for delicate and sensitive skin. Mallow is generally used for its refreshing action.
ROSA CANINA
(Rosa Canina – Rosehip extract)
It has a lightening, smoothing and toning effect. The extract’s functionality is mainly due to lycopene, an active ingredient rich in vitamins E and C.
ROSEMARY
(Rosmarinus Officinalis – Rosemary leaf extract)
It has skin-purifying properties and a soothing action. It is a very common ingredient in shampoos, specifically for strengthening the hair.
SAGE
(Salvia Officinalis – Sage leaf extract)
It has remarkable purifying properties. The tonic and stimulating action of sage extracts is mainly used in cosmetic products such as lotions and shampoos for the scalp.
GREEN TEA
(Camellia Sinensis Verde – Green tea leaf extract)
The extract’s activity is mainly due to saponins, which are characterized by their foaming and cleansing properties.
ACTIVATED VEGETABLE CHARCOAL
(Charcoal Powder)
Activated charcoal derived from coconut, recognized for its detoxifying and whitening properties.
PREBIOTICS
(Polymnia Sonchifolia and Alpha-glucan oligosaccharide)
These are organic plant substances that act as nutrients for bacteria that help improve the balance of the skin’s bacterial flora.
POSTBIOTICS
(Lactobacillus)
These are the functional molecules of the good bacteria present on the skin, which store the necessary moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
RICE STARCH
(Oryza Sativa)
Obtained from the treatment of rice grains, it has excellent soothing properties, helps restore the skin natural function and gives the skin a pleasant feeling of freshness, leaving it soft and silky.
ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL
(Citrus Aurantium Oil – Orange peel extract)
An efficient natural and vegetable solvent that helps remove solvent-based and oily dirt.
OLIVE OIL
(Olea Europaea Fruit Oil – Olive extract)
Produced from certified Italian origin olives, it is a natural vegetable emollient for the skin that nourishes and rebalances the hydrolipidic film.
THYME
(Thymus Vulgaris – Thyme flower and leaf extract)
Extracted from the leaves of the thyme plant, it is used for its protective and soothing effect on the skin, helping to keep it soft and silky.
STAR ANISE
(Sodium Anisate – Extract of star anise flowers)
Obtained from the well-known mountain flower, it is a totally natural and plant-based active ingredient that has an effective antimicrobial effect, as well as being extremely skin-friendly.
CALENDULA
(Calendula Officinalis – Calendula flower extract)
A plant extract from the petals of the flower, it has an important soothing, emollient and protective effect on the skin.
Kroll line abrasives
WOOD POWDER
Obtained from dried conifer wood fibers, it has a controlled grain size that allows for decisive and effective abrasion.
WALNUT SHELL POWDER
(Juglans Regia Shell Powder)
Dark brown in color, they come from a controlled plant source and have a strong (but controlled) abrasive action on the skin.
MICRONIZED OLIVE PITS
(Olea Europaea Seed Powder)
Obtained from the recovery product of Italian olive pressing, it is characterized by a leathery fiber that makes it an excellent vegetable abrasive.
CORN COB
(Zea Mays Cob Powder)
Obtained from recycled products, these are an excellent example of a totally sustainable natural vegetable abrasive.
CALCIUM CARBONATE
Selected and extracted from quarries in the Apuan Alps, it is characterized by a pure white color and incisive abrasive properties.
